Moto G9 now official with Snapdragon 662 and 5,000mAh battery

Motorola announced the Moto G9 in India which is a new affordable smartphone priced at around USD 210.

It is priced at just INR 11,499 or around PHP 7,550

First off, globally the Moto G9 will be known as the G9 Play. For the specs, it has a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display at 1600 x 720 resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. For performance, it has the 2.0GHz Snapdragon 662 octa-core processor, Adreno 610 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB expandable storage, and a huge 5,000mAh battery.

The rear camera consists of three sensors with a 48MP main sensor + 2MP depth sensor + 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, it has an 8MP sensor. To round up the specs, it has USB-C charging, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, WiFi, 4G LTE, and a dedicated Google Assistant button. It also jas a water repellent coating for splash resistance.

It has two colors in Sapphire Blue and Forest Green as well.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

Moto G9 - INR 1,499 (around PHP 7.5K)

The Moto G9 will be available in India starting August 31, 2020, with a price tag of INR 11,499 which is around PHP 7.5K out of straight conversion.
