MyPhone launches myXI1 Pro with octa-core chip, LTE, and IR Blaster for PHP 3,999

Pioneer local brand MyPhone today announced the myXI1 Pro—a rare budget smartphone with octa-core chip, 4G LTE, fingerprint reader, and an IR Blaster.

MyPhone myXI1 Pro features a stylish-looking 3D polycarbonate curved back cover in Meteor Red, Galactic Blue, and Blue Sky colorways at the back and a 5.99-inch HD+ display with 18:9 screen aspect ratio.

Inside, the octa-core chip is unspecified. But since it has LTE, we suspect that it is similar to the 1.6GHz 28nm UNISOC SC9863 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8322 found on the higher-end myX12. It is paired with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and 3,500mAh battery.

For cameras, it sports a 13MP Sony + depth sensor at the back with AF, bokeh effect, and LED flash. In the front, it uses a 5MP shooter with beauty mode. MyPhone hasn't mentioned if it has an LED flash in front, but its official renders suggests it has one.

The device also comes with a fingerprint reader behind, MyPhone DTV compatible OTG, WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and dual SIM slots.

One of its key features is the IR Blaster sensor which its users can use as a remote control for their TV, aircon, and other home appliances.

It runs with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
