In India, OPPO announced the 2020 edition of the A53. It sports a big punch-hole display with a high refresh rate, 11nm SoC solution, and large battery capacity.

In particular, the handset is equipped with a 3D curved glass-like back design in Fancy Blue, Fancy White, and Electric Black colorways and a 6.5-inch HD+ 1600 x 720 screen, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a punch-hole to house its 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
Under the hood, it is powered by the 11nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 octa-core SoC with up to 1.8GHz clock speed and Adreno 610 GPU. It is coupled with 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 expandable storage via microSD up to 256GB, and 5,000mAh battery and USB-C 18W fast charging.
The back cameras in a rectangular-shaped island consist of a 13MP f/2.2 main + 2MP f/2.4 macro + 2MP f/2.4 depth camera. It also has an LED flash.
The phone also has a rear-facing fingerprint reader, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and dual nano-SIM slots.
It runs with Android 10 OS with ColorOS 7.2 skin. The handset measures at 163.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm and weighs 186 grams.
