As promised, Huawei Philippines today launched its newest laptop in town— the Huawei MateBook 14 2020 AMD.

Huawei MateBook 14 2020 AMD highlights a lightweight and slim aluminum alloy design for better style and portability as well as capable internals making it a near no-compromise laptop based on specs for the price.

The laptop boasts a 14-inch QHD 2K display with 2160 x 1440 resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, 100 percent RGB color gamut, 300 nits brightness, and 4.9mm super-slim bezels. The slim bezel was made possible by hiding the 1MP HD webcam in the middle "F" portion of its keyboard.

Inside, it is powered by the new 4.0GHz 7nm AMD Ryzen 5 4600H 6-core processor with 6-core AMD Radeon Graphics, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD, and 56WHr LiPo with 65W Switching Power Adaptor.

Huawei said that this laptop has up to 10 hours of 1080p local video playback on a single charge. It also has 15 minutes of charge equal to 2.5 hours of use. Plus, the 65W charger of this laptop also supports Huawei SuperCharge for smartphones.

To keep the performance in check, Huawei added 2x Shark fin fans arranged in a denser "S-shaped" arrangement to improve cooling performance and make fan acoustics quieter.

It also has a full-sized keyboard, touchpad with gesture support and Huawei Share tag, 4x microphones, 2x 2W speakers, and plenty of ports.

The laptop runs with Windows 10 Home OS with PC Manager to support Instant Hotspot, Gallery Management, Screen Recording, Clipboard Sharing, and more.
