Build / Design - The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE features a matte-like plastic back panel with different colors such as Cloud White, Cloud Navy, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Red, Cloud Orange, and Cloud Mint. It also has a small punch-hole giving a modern look upfront.

Metal and glass POCO body

Meanwhile, Xiaomi's POCO F2 Pro features a glass and metal body for a premium look and feel. It also features a small punch-hole design upfront. It comes in Neon Blue, Phantom White, Electric Purple, Cyber Grey.

For less, you get a glass and metal body with POCO F2 Pro but it is a bit slippery to the touch. You get a plastic body for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE but it could prove to be more durable.

In this aspect, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE takes a lead with a better panel and 120Hz refresh rate but POCO F2 Pro has HDR10+ support.

POCO F2 Pro has the 2.84GHz 7nm Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor, Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.0 storage, and a 4,700mAh w/ 30W fast charging.

In terms of CPU and GPU speeds, POCO F2 Pro takes the lead. It's a tie in terms of RAM while POCO F2 Pro has bigger storage and battery. In terms of charging, Galaxy S20 FE jas more options with wireless and reverse wireless charging in the mix.

Cameras - The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a triple camera set-up with 12MP f/1.8 w/ Dual Pixel and OIS + 12MP f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide-angle + 8MP f/2.4 w/ 3x Hybrid Optic Zoom and OIS + ToF + LED flash While in front is a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

Our thoughts

For PHP 6K less, the POCO F2 Pro has an overall better package than the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. It has a more premium design, better screen, faster CPU and GPU, bigger battery, bigger storage, and 5G connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has its own charm too. It has a more durable plastic body, wireless charging, IP68 resistance, stereo speakers, and a tried-and-tested camera setup with OIS.

Still, you can't go wrong with either one.
