Motorola G50 5G unveiled with SD480, 48MP triple-cameras

It is available in Steel Gray and Aqua Green

The Motorola G50 is a 5G-ready device with a simple yet sleek look. It has a glossy back with two colors in Steel Gray and Aqua Green. It has a 6.5-inch IPS screen with a 1600 x 720 HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate with a dewdrop notch for the selfie camera.

Inside, it has a 2.0GHz 8nm Snapdragon 480 5G octa-core processor. Adreno 619 GPU, 4GB RAM, up to 128GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging. It also features dual-band WiFi, 5G, 4G LTE. Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, NFC, and USB-C.

For cameras, it has a triple-camera setup with a 48MP f/1.7 26mm lens with PDAF + 5MP f/2.4 macro + 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor with LED flash. It also has a 13MP f/2.2 selfie camera. It also runs Android 11 out of the box.

The Motorola G50 5G is priced awkwardly since for a few more thousand, you can get the better spec'd Moto G 5G. It is also noted that some countries will get a single SIM model to make way for a dedicated microSD card slot.
