Glasses with audio speakers!

Razer has just announced its new Anzu 'Smart' glasses with integrated audio speakers that come in both rectangular and round frame options. Both frame types will also come in small and large and included in the package are two sets of lenses: one pair of clear with blue light limiting lenses and the second pair being sunglasses lenses with 99 percent UV protection.

Unlike the competition from similar products from Bose and Amazon, the Razer Anzu uses a truly wireless design that completely splits the left and right speakers. Razer also says that the Anzu's design allows for improved comfort because the frames are durable but flexible.

On each side are the massive 16mm driver speakers and on each temple are touch-responsive areas for tap-based gestures to answer calls, change tracks, and to raise the voice assistant. The smart glasses connect wirelessly true Bluetooth 5.1 and Razer says will offer ultra-low latency between devices. The body is IPX4 rated for water resistance. This means it can handle sweat and small splashes but it may not be suitable for rain.

To charge the smart glasses, users must charge BOTH temple sides at the same time thru the pogo pins. The glasses automatically power down when folded shut and is rated for up to two weeks of standby time and is rated for up to 5.5 hours of continuous playback.

Razer has also partnered with Lensabl for a 15 percent discount on prescription lenses for Anzu customers.

Included in the package is the leatherette case, charging case and extra lenses.
