Smart taps Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz as its newest endorser

Hidilyn Diaz, the Philippines' first Olympic gold medalist has become Smart's newest ambassador.

The weightlifting queen is their latest endorser!

A partnership made with a mission to empower and inspire Filipino athletes and the million subscribers of the telco. The collaboration is no surprise though as MVP Sports Foundation had a history of helping out the majority of the athletes in the country.

The SVP and Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart has said:

Now the Filipina Weightlifter is the newest Katropa for Smart's value brand TNT, promoting Filipino values among the youth such as being "simple at totoo, mapangarap, madiskarte, positibo, and makatropa".

TNT also wants to encourage local talent by providing a platform for them to showcase their abilities to the rest of the world, and the brand is delighted to have the gold medalist as part of their family to spread positivity and motivate the Filipino young to pursue and achieve their goals.

Meanwhile, the Philippines' gold medalist mentioned these inspiring words:

Andito ako lumalaban para sa Pilipinas. I don’t want to give up for myself and for you because young athletes deserve a role model who doesn’t give up on her dreams.
