A new entry-level smartphone?

In Russia, Lenovo has announced the latest member of its K-series of smartphones that on paper looks like a step back from the predecessor.

The new Lenovo K13 has a large 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720, a notch, and a 60Hz refresh rate. On the notch is the 5MP front-facing shooter.

At the back of the phone are the fingerprint scanner, the Lenovo branding, and the rear dual-camera set-up. The rear camera module is made up of a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

Inside the K13 are the Unisoc SC9863A octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.

What's surprising is the downgrade from the K12's Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage.

Another feature of the K13 is the massive 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging. It connects via LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.

Lastly, it comes in the one Blue colorway.
