Motorola Philippines today launched its most affordable 5G-ready smartphone in the country—Moto G50 5G.
The device features a 3D curved glasstic material with a square camera hump and a function-less Motorola logo in the upper middle portion at the back. It is available in Meteorite Grey and Green colors.
In the front, the handset is equipped with a 6.5-inch 2.5D curved LCD (IPS) Max Vision screen w/ 90Hz adaptive refresh rate and HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution. It has a notch housing a 13MP f/2.2 selfie shooter.
Under the hood, similar to most affordable 5G-ready smartphones, the device is powered by the 2.0GHz 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 (950MHz) GPU and a built-in 5G modem. It also has 4GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with a USB-C 15W fast charger.
Completing the specs, it highlights a side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE (aside from 5G), BT 5.0, NFC, GPS, dual SIM slots, and Android 11 operating system.
