Huawei partners with Department of Tourism for "Made by MatePad" Online Contest

Huawei and the DoT inked a partnership to launch the Made by MatePad Online Contest. It aims to promote Filipino culture and heritage through art.

The Made by MatePad event is an online art contest that invites Filipino digital artists to showcase icons of Filipino culture and tourism. The contest aims to bring attention to the rich Filipino culture and local attractions amidst the limitations imposed by the pandemic.

There will be 17 winners that will be chosen to have their art displayed in Huawei's offline stores and a chance to win exciting prizes. The prizes will be as follows:

1 winner of Huawei MatePad Pro 15.6 worth PHP 55,999

2 winners of the Huawei MatePad 11 worth 22,999

4 winners of the Huawei FreeBuds 4i worth PHP 3,599

10 winners of Huawei Vouchers worth PHP 1,000

There are two ways to join. First, you can join via the Huawei Facebook Page by following the steps below:

1. To join, participants must comment on their entry on the Facebook contest announcement post on this link.

2. Participants must design a Philippine icon with their HUAWEI MatePad or any other form of medium.

3. Participants must provide a short description explaining their entry with the hashtag #MadeByMatePad.

4. Participants also have to sign up on the Google Forms attached to the announcement post to upload their contact details and entries on this form.

You can also join via the Huawei Community by following these steps:

1. To join, participants must submit their entry on the HUAWEI Community thread.

2. Participants must design a Philippine icon with their HUAWEI MatePad or any other form of medium.

3. Participants must provide a short description explaining their entry with the hashtag #MadeByMatePad.

Participants have until September 30, 2021, to submit their entries using the two submission channels.
