Samsung Galaxy Wide5 with Dimensity 700 SoC and 64MP camera now official

The Samsung Galaxy Wide5 was just announced in South Korea. It was unveiled for carrier SK Telecom with Dimensity 700 SoC and a 64MP main camera.

It has a 64MP triple camera setup

The Galaxy Wide5 has a textured back with three colors in Black, White, and Blue. It has a textured back with a square camera bump housing the triple camera setup. It also has a dewdrop notch for the selfie camera.

The screen is a 6.6-inch FHD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has thin bezels with a bit of a thicker chin though. Inside, it features a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor, Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 6GB RAM, and 128GB expandable storage. It also has a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging. It also jas a 2.77 Gbps 5G mode, WiFi 5, and Bluetooth 5.1 support.

For cameras, it has a triple camera setup with 64MP f/1.8 main sensor + 5MP f/2.2 115-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor + 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor with LED flash. The selfie camera features an 8MP sensor.

The Samsung Galaxy Wide5 may launch internationally under different names including the Galaxy F42 5G and Galaxy Buddy. Local availability and pricing are yet to be confirmed though.
