Local telco giant Globe recently announced that the company has expanded its GoWiFi service to over 3,700 locations nationwide.

Globe expands GoWiFi to over 3,700 locations nationwide

This is to provide Filipinos access to affordable and stable internet connections in public areas.

Globe notes that GoWiFi is currently available in select branches of major shopping malls like Ayala Malls, Megaworld Malls, SM Supermalls, Robinsons Malls; in coffee shops like Starbucks; in transport terminals such as Metro Rail Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT); and in airports namely the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (Clark International Airport), Puerto Princesa International Airport (New Terminal), and more.

To connect to GoWiFi, simply open the WiFi settings of your WiFi-ready device and connect to "@FreeGoWiFi" or "@<establishment>_FreeGoWiFi.". Then, register with your mobile and wait for the SMS verification. Next, select a WiFi offer, confirm, and then start surfing. 

Globe also highlights GoSurf and EasySurf bundle promos with 1GB of FREE GoWiFi.

Then, to maximize the FREE 1GB from GoSurf and EasySurf, tap open the WiFi settings of your device. Look for "@GoSurf_FreeWiFi" or "@EasySurf_FreeWiFi." After that, register your mobile number and wait for SMS verification. Lastly, confirm and start browsing.
