50W OPPO Wireless AIR VOOC fast charger to launch along with Find X5

OPPO Find X5 is expected to launch soon in China and India. Alongside it, the company is expected to debut the 50W Wireless AIR VOOC fast charger.

Alleged OPPO Find X5 series renders

Leaks reveal the Wireless AIR VOOC fast charger's looks and specs. This is a 50W wireless fast charger that will support devices with wireless charging technology. It seems to be a platform where you put your smartphone on top to charge. 50W output is pretty fast for wireless charging.

This may signal that OPPO might be releasing more smartphones with wireless charging support. For instance, the OPPO Find X5 Pro will have 50W wireless charging support. So, OPPO might be moving to push more support for wireless charging.

For the Find X5 series, the non-Pro and Pro variants are expected to have the Dimensity 9000 chipset and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC respectively. Both will have AMOLED screens with up to 120Hz refresh rate support. Both devices are also expected to sport the in-house Mariana MariSilicon X Imaging NPU chip. Both are expected to have up to 5,000mAh battery, 80W wired charging, and up to 50W wireless charging. In terms of RAM and storage, up to 12GB LPDDR5 and 512GB UFS 3.1 are expected respectively.

According to previous rumors, the Find X5 series phones will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary lens and a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie lens.
