Sony's portable speaker is now in the Philippines!

The speaker has a rugged design so you can take it wherever and whenever you feel to. It has an IP67 rating which means it is waterproof. The brand claims that it is totally washable and can even withstand saltwater. Apart from that, it is also dustproof and shockproof ensuring its users that it is durable.

Sony also says that it uses the X-Balanced Speaker Unit developed by Sony which provides high sound quality and strong sound pressure for a richer, deeper, and more enjoyable listening experience. Additionally, the unit's off-center design will also give better clarity and a wider sound stage.

It also has the tough Mica Reinforced Cellular speaker cone and dust cap that contributes to the quality of sound it produces and the side passive radiators were optimized to give a clear bass sound.

The SRS-XB33 is equipped with speaker lights and multicolor line light that reacts based on the beat it produces. The color can also be modified according to your mood.

The lighting feature

The company also brags that it has a long battery life that can last up to 24 hours. However, if the lights are turned on and in the EXTRA BASS mode, it can last for 14 hours. Based on the spec sheet it can be charged using a 5V 1A adaptor.

For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 5.0 technology and has NFC so you can simply pair it with an NFC-compatible device, and it's good to go. It has a USB-C port for DC in, a USB-A port for DC out.

Another worth mentioning is that it is compatible with Sony's Music Center app which can be downloaded on Playstore and App Store. To control the lights, there's a separate app called the Fiestable app, it also lets you set motion-control gestures on your smartphone screen.

Lastly, it is available in 4 colors Red, Blue, Taupe, and Black.
