Microsoft just launched the Surface Laptop Go 2 with an affordable price tag for Students or Professionals.
The company did this for users who prefer to save money but still want the Surface experience.
The laptop appears in the traditional modern design you can see around. It has a silver metallic-like on top while the base uses polycarbonate composite resin with glass fiber and 30 percent post-consumer recycled content.
The 12.4-inch PixelSense screen has a 1536 x 1024 resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and 330 nits max brightness. The display also has 10-point multi-touch support.
Powering the unit will be an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics. It is paired with up to three RAM and SSD configurations—4GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB.
For the battery, it has a size of 41WHr and charges using 39W power brick. As per the brand's claim, it can last up to 13.5 hours of typical usage.
The base version however does not have a fingerprint reader while the two other higher models have it. The laptop also features Dolby Audio Premium, a 720p HD camera, and dual far-field studio microphones.
Moving to connectivity, it has WiFi 6 with dual-band and Bluetooth 5.1. As for the ports it has 1x USB-C, USB-A, 3.5mm headphone jack, and 1x Surface Connect port.
The device will also run Windows 11 OS as its software.

The new budget machine is now available for pre-order on Microsoft's website the release date will be on June 7. No word yet though if it will reach the Philippines so just stay tuned to keep updated.
