Along with press images, the Moto G42's key specifications were also revealed. It has a similar design to the Moto G41 with a shiny back with a rectangular camera island. The screen is expected to be a 6.5-inch MaxVision OLED screen with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution. It also has a punch-hole cutout for the 13MP selfie camera.

Inside, it has the Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor, Adreno 610 GPU, 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and a huge 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. For cameras, it has a triple-camera setup with a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor + 8MP f/2.2 118-degree ultra-wide-angle + 2MP f/2.4 macro camera with LED flash.

It will also run Android 12 with My UX on top. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual-band WiFi, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and USB-C port.

Price and availability are yet to be confirmed though. We will update you once the Moto G42 becomes official. As with any leaks, take this one with a grain of salt.
