POCO C40 w/ JR510 JL processor goes official in the Philippines, price revealed!

POCO Philippines today revealed that the C40 budget Android smartphone is now official in the country.

POCO C40 is now official in the Philippines!

As a quick recap, the C40 features the largest display on a POCO device yet at 6.71-inch. This display is protected by Gorilla Glass, has an HD+ resolution of 1650 x 720, and a notch for the 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

Highlights of POCO C40

Inside, it is using a not that common processor. In particular, it is loaded with the 2.0GHz 11nm JR510 octa-core processor from JLQ Technology which is a semiconductor maker based in Shanghai. This chip is said to be as good as the Helio G35 from MTK.

The device also has 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, and a 6,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 18W charging. The in-box charger is just 10W though.

For cameras, it has a 13MP f/2.2 PDAF + 2MP f/2.4 depth + LED flash at the back.

The device also has a rear-facing fingerprint reader hidden at the back.
