realme in India today announced the realme 9i 5G.

A new affordable 5G-ready realme smartphone?

realme 9i 5G is the company's latest budget 5G-ready smartphone boasting the sleek Laser Light Design with boxy edges, 6.5-inch LCD screen with 180Hz touch sampling rate/FHD+ 2048 x 1080 resolution, 6nm Dimensity 810 5G processor from MediaTek, up to 11GB Dynamic RAM Expansion, and 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 18W fast charging.

Key features of realme 9i

For cameras, it highlights a 50MP main shooter + 4cm macro + a portrait camera. I run with Android 12 OS with realme UI 3.0 skin.

realme is highlighting that it is just 8.1 mm thin and 187 grams light.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

realme 9i 5G 4GB/64GB - INR 14,999 (around PHP 10.5K)

realme 9i 5G 6GB/128GB - INR 16,999 (around PHP 11.9K)

The device is now available in India, but there is no word if it will go official in other parts of the world yet.
