What is the Lenovo Glasses T1?

The Lenovo Glasses T1 is a pair of glasses with two 1080p 60Hz micro-OLED screens. This is for a more immersive way of viewing your computer screen. However, you can't wear this and walk around.

This is because the Lenovo Glasses T1 is meant to be worn while sitting down as it obscures your vision completely. In addition, it must maintain tethered to your source device via USB-C at all times. In short, you must treat this as an actual monitor and stay put in one place as you work or play.

It is designed to increase immersion. When you wear it, it has the effect of an actual theater screen. Lenovo believes that mobile users and gamers could potentially be the main market for these pairs of smart glasses.

PCs, tablets, smartphones, and Macs can connect to the Glasses T1 via USB-C only. iOS devices will have to connect via Lenovo's HDMI adapter and Apple's Digital AV adapter since these are still using Lightning ports.

The Lenovo Glasses T1 also comes with built-in speakers and multiple nose pads.

There is no info about the pricing yet though. It will be first released as the Lenovo Yoga Glasses in China by the end of 2022. It is expected to reach select global markets later in 2023.
