Redmi 11 Prime series and Redmi A1 with Dimensity 700 and Helio G99 now official

Xiaomi just launched the Redmi 11 Prime, Redmi 11 Prime 5G, and Redmi A1 in India. All of these are powered by MediaTek chipsets.

First up, we have the Redmi 11 Prime 5G which features a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has the 2.2GHz MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor, Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, up to 6GB RAM LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.2 expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

For cameras, it has a dual-camera setup with a 50MP f/1.8 sensor + 2MP depth sensor. It also has a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G, dual-band WiFi, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB-C.

The Redmi 11 Prime features the same screen as the 5G variant. Inside, it has the 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor, Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 128GB UFS 2.2 expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

It features a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main camera and two 2MP auxiliary sensors. The selfie camera is an 8MP sensor. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-band WiFi, a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster, Bluetooth 3.5, and USB-C.

The Redmi A1 is a budget-friendly device running stock Android 12. It features a plastic body with a leather-like texture at the back. It also has a 6.52-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution. It features the MediaTek Helio A22, 2GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.

For cameras, it has a dual-camera setup with an 8MP main sensor + 2MP depth sensor. It also has a 5MP selfie camera. It still has a micro USB port for charging though.

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G and 11 Prime are announced without a set launch date while the Redmi A1 will come in India on September 9. Local prices and availability are yet to be confirmed. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
