Microsoft Surface Pro 9 w/ 12th Gen Intel Core and SQ 3 5G processor now official

Along with the Surface Laptop 5, the Microsoft Surface Pro 9 2-in-1 laptop also launched with a 12th Gen Intel Core and SQ3 5G processor.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 2-in-1 laptop marks the 10th anniversary of the Surface products. The Surface Pro 9 features a 13-inch PixelSense screen with a 2880 x 1920 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1200:1 contrast ratio, 10-point multi-touch, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and 267 ppi pixel density.

It features either a 12th Gen Intel Core processor with Intel Iris Xe GPU for the non-5G variant while the 5G variant features the Microsoft SQ 3 processor with a dedicated NPU + Adreno 8CX Gen 3 GPU. It can have up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB SSD storage, and a 47.7Whr battery.

Due to its 2-in-1 form factor, it also has a 10MP rear camera with AF and a 1080P FHD webcam. Other features include the 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, 2x USB-C with USB 4.0/ Thunderbolt 4, 1x Surface Connect port, 1x Surface Type Cover port, WiFi 6E, 5G NR NSA, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou.

Microsoft and the London-based international design studio "Liberty" worked together to release a limited-edition Surface Pro keyboard and a Surface Pro 9 with a laser-etched vivid blue floral pattern that was inspired by the Windows 11 Bloom in some areas to recognize the 10th anniversary of Surface.
