vivo unveils Funtouch OS 13, first beta already available for select smartphones
vivo just announced the launch of the Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13. It includes improvements in looks, functions, and features.

Significant upgrades include better control through iManager, app pinning to prevent others from looking at other apps, and a new stabilizer ring in the viewfinder while snapping pictures. FunTouch OS 13 offers additional options for personalizing the home screen aesthetics, such as icons that match the background. The Monochrome Icon feature, a welcome upgrade for those who like a simple appearance, allows the Settings menu to be in a single hue.
One of the security upgrades is the ability to pin apps. The three-dot menu in the gallery provides users with the option to conceal specific photographs from their devices. vivo's own method for centralizing all phone controls is the software iManager. Monitoring app usage time and the user experience are much more streamlined with Funtouch 13.
The app may now minimize active apps and change CPU frequency based on the phone's cooling capabilities. One tap stops CPU-intensive applications.
A big improvement in video editing now makes it possible to mute the music while making any adjustments to specific chunks, especially in the age of Reels and TikTok movies.
Photo editing can now also be done within the viewfinder with simple horizontal swipes. You can adjust vibrance, brightness, contrast, and exposure.

The Beta has already rolled out in September and will continue until the first half of 2023.
