Redmi K60, K60E with SD8+ Gen 1, MTK Dimensity 8200 now official!

Xiaomi just launched the Redmi K60 and K60E. These are part of the latest flagship smartphones featuring Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Dimensity 8200.

Redmi K60

First up, the Redmi K60 features a pretty design with a rectangular camera island at the back. It measures 162.8 x 75.4 x 8.6 mm and weighs 205 g. The Leather version is a bit thicker at 8.79 mm and weighs less at 199 g.

It has a 6.67-inch 2K TCL 12-bit AMOLED screen with a 3200 x 1440 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, 1920Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, up to 1,400 nits peak brightness, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, HDR10+, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Dolby Vision support.

Inside, it features the 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor, next-gen Adreno GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging.

For cameras, it has a triple-camera setup at the back with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with OIS, EIS + 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor + 2MP f/2.4 macro camera with LED flash. It also has a 16MP selfie camera.

Other features include an In-Display fingerprint sensor, WiFi 6E, 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band GPS, NavIC, Infrared, NFC, stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, Dolby Atmos, and USB-C. It runs Android 13 with MIUI 14.

The Redmi K60E looks practically the same as the base variant but has a few differences in specs. It has a 6.67-inch 2K Samsung 8-bit AMOLED screen with a 3200 x 1440 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1200 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support.

Inside, it has the 3.1GHz MediaTek Dimensity 8200 octa-core processor, Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and 5,500mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging. No wireless charging is included here.

For the cameras, the Remdi K60E features a triple-camera setup with a 48MP main camera with OIS + 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor + 2MP f/2.4 macro camera with LED flash. It also has a 20MP selfie camera.

Other features include an In-Display fingerprint sensor, WiFi 6E, 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band GPS, NavIC, Infrared, NFC, stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, Dolby Atmos, and USB-C. It runs Android 13 with MIUI 14.
