After introducing the Y78+ in early 2023, the brand has now unveiled a T1 edition however with little to no difference at all.

Same phone all over again? 

The T1 edition adopts a similar approach in design with "porcelain texture technology" and is available in Warm Sun Gold, Sky Blue, and Moon Shadow Black colorways.

It also retained the 6.78-inch curved OLED screen with 1080 x 2400 Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and 105 percent NTSC color gamut.

Inside, it is powered by a 2.4GHz 6nm Snapdragon 695 octa-core chip with Adreno 619L GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 memory space.

When it comes to battery, it has a 5,000mAh capacity that charges using a USB-C and 44W power brick.

On the camera side, it has 50MP primary shooter with OIS + 2MP portrait sensor. While for selfies, it uses 8MP front-facing camera.

The rest mentioned are the 3.5mm jack, 5G, 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, it will be the OriginOS 3 skin overlay.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

vivo Y78+ (T1) Edition 256GB - CNY 1,599 (around PHP 14K)

The device is now available on vivo's China website. No word yet if they will bring it to other markets. Be sure to check us out once in a while to get updated.
