iQOO Neo 9 and 9 Pro launched: SD8G2 or Dimensity 9300, 144Hz OLED, and 120W fast charging!

Just before the year ends, iQOO has announced two high-end phones named the iQOO Neo 9 Series.

These devices feature a 6.78-inch OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate with HDR10+ support.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro features

Inside, the Neo 9 sports a 3.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor with New Adreno GPU. The Neo 9 Pro gets the faster MediaTek flagship 3.25GHz 4nm Dimensity 9300 octa-core processor with Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU.

iQOO Neo 9 features

Moreover, these phones have an iQOO Q1 chip dedicated to enhanced viewing and gaming.

These two are paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

For batteries, they are packed with 5,160mAh capacity that supports USB-C and 120W fast charging.

On the camera side, these devices have 50MP Sony IMX920 primary sensors with OIS. The difference will be the base Neo 9 gets an 8MP ultra-wide sensor while the Neo 9 Pro gets a higher 50MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, they are identical with 16MP shooters.

Other features mentioned are the 6K VC liquid cooling 3D heat dissipation system inside, dual speakers, and an X-axis linear motor.

Connectivity-wise, they are equipped with WiFi 7 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phones run Android 14 with OriginOS 4 skin on top.

These smartphones are now available in China. However, iQOO has not mentioned the availability for other markets yet.
