Redmi 13C now official in PH: 90Hz display, Helio G85, and 50MP main camera, priced at PHP 4,999!

Following Xiaomi Philippines' teaser of the Redmi 13C, and now the device was officially launched in the country.

Redmi 13 is now official in PH!

To recap, the phone brought a much sleeker-looking form, boxy design, and color choices of Midnight Black, Navy Blue, Glacier White, and Clover Green.

The display

Turning it up, you will see a 6.74-inch LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 450 nits of brightness, and Gorilla Glass protection. Moreover, the display is certified by TUV Rheinland for Low Blue Light and flicker-free.

Inside, the device is equipped with a 2.0GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor with Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It is paired with 4GB/6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage.

The battery has a 5,000mAh capacity that charges using 18W PD and USB-C.

The prices

In the camera department, it uses a 50MP f/1.8 primary shooter with PDAF, 2MP f/2.4macro, and a QVGA depth helper. For selfies, the phone is equipped with an 8MP f/2.0 sensor.

Other features are the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS and dual SIM.

The phone runs Android 13 Operating System with MIUI 14 skin out of the box.
