HUAWEI officially intros Pura 70 Series, XMAGE Exhibit, and WATCH FIT 3 in PH!
In an exclusive gala at Shangri-La at the Fort last May 23, HUAWEI formally introduced its newest high-end smartphone line, the Pura 70 Series.

The tech giant showcased the top highlights of the new phones consisting of the Pura 70 (PHP 47,999), Pura 70 Pro (PHP 59,999), and Pura 70 Ultra (PHP 79,999).
To recap, the new XMAGE-powered camera phones all highlight best-in-class cameras paired with stunning "Fashion Forward" designs and other highly innovative and smart features.
The HUAWEI Pura 70 arrived in Black, White, and Pink colorways with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating at the back and a 6.6-inch Kunlun-glass 2nd gen protected LTPO OLED 120Hz 2760 x 1256 screen with an In-Display fingerprint reader as well as a 13MP f/2.4 selfie sensor with AF.
Inside, it is powered by the Kirin 9000S1 chip, 12GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, 4,900mAh w/ 66W SuperCharge, 50W Wireless SuperCharge, and 7.5W Wireless Reverse Charging.
The back camera hardware of the phone highlights the 50MP f/1.4~f/4.0 with super-focus and OIS + 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle + 12MP f/3.4 5x periscope zoom with OIS.

The HUAWEI Pura 70 Pro features a curved glass back with an AG finish in Black or White as well as an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The device also has a slightly curved 6.8-inch Kunlun-glass 2nd gen-protected LTPO OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, 2844 x 1260 resolution, In-Display fingerprint reader, and a top-center notch for the 13MP f/2.4 AF selfie camera.
Under the hood, it is powered by the 2.3GHz 7nm Kirin 9010 octa-core processor with Maleoon 910 (750MHz) GPU, 12GB RAM, 512GB of internal storage, 5,050mAh battery capacity with USB-C 100W SuperCharge, 80W Wireless SuperCharge, and 20W Wireless Reverse Charging.
For cameras, it features 50MP f/1.4~f/4.0 with super-focus, OIS + 12.5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle + 48MP f/2.1 3.5x periscope zoom with OIS and macro.
The HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra is even better. It goes with a more premium-looking design, XMAGE branding at the back in faux leather Black or Green colorways, and an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
The front is also tougher as it uses basalt-tempered Kunlun glass on the same 6.8-inch panel.
The chip is the same, the Kirin 9010. But, it has a larger 16GB RAM paired with 512GB of internal storage. The battery specs are also similar to the Pura 70 Pro.
The major upgrade of the Pura 70 Ultra compared to the rest of the series is its cameras. The device highlights a more sophisticated camera system featuring an Ultra Lighting Pop-out 1-inch 50MP f/1.6~f/4.0 primary sensor with super-focus, OIS + 40MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle + 50MP f/2.1 3.5x periscope zoom with OIS and macro.
At the moment, this is the highest-ranked camera phone in the world at DxOMark.
The entire Pura 70 Series is packed with the Ultra Lighting camera system and the industry's first HUAWEI XD Motion Engine that supports the Ultra Speed Snapshot feature and easily captures fast moments and the Ultra Lighting Macro Telephoto Camera.

All of the phones are now available for pre-order nationwide.
To further showcase what separates the HUAWEI phones from other camera phones, the company also announced the XMAGE Awards ceremony which celebrates photographs spanning different themes and categories like Faces, Moments, So Far So Close, Hello Life, Art & Fashion, Style, Focus x Time, and Action.

This event this year showcased HUAWEI partners like Fotomoto and Vogue, but the spotlight is on the HUAWEI community, whose members play a significant role as photo contributors and former XMAGE winners.
The company also announced the XMAGE Exhibit which paid homage to HUAWEI's different moment highlights, namely moments of time, smile, beauty, and discovery.

Apart from the Pura 70 Series, HUAWEI also showcased the new HUAWEI WATCH FIT 3 with fluoroelastomer strap for PHP 6,499 and the premium nylon strap version at PHP 6,999.
This watch highlights an updated squarish design for more screen real-estate as well as a body made with premium aluminum material and a rotating crown for controls aside from its updated features. Of course, it has plenty of health and fitness functions and a very long up to 10 days of battery life.
