realme C61 launched: Durable screen, UNISOC T612, and IP54 rating!

realme is continuing to expand its budget smartphone line with the launch of the C61.

realme C61 launched!

The phone features two colorways namely Safari Green and Marble Black.

In front, it has a 6.5-inch LTPS LCD (IPS) panel with HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The main highlight is realme's claims of a durable screen with its unnamed reinforced glass. Meanwhile, it also earned certification from TUV Rheinland to ensure users of its toughness.

Inside, it is powered by the 1.82GHz 12nm UNISOC T612 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU,4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage, 5,000mAh battery and has up to 1,000 cycles of charging.

For taking photos, it is equipped with a 32MP main shooter + depth helper + LED flash. At the front, it has an 8MP f/2.05 selfie camera.

Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Dynamic Button, IP54 water splash and dust resistance.

Connectivity features are 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and dual SIM.

The phone is now listed on realme's India website. While the sale will begin on June 28, 2024. No word yet for a PH release though so stay tuned.
