The Infinix NOTE 50 Series is coming soon

As the main spotlight, the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro+ will be under USD 500 (around PHP 28K) and is rumored to sport a full-metal body, just as previously speculated during its first teaser.

Infinix says they had drawn inspiration from the manufacturing techniques of modern EVs highlighting lightweight build yet still maintaining durability as well as being eco-friendly.

It's not just the top-end variant from the lineup that will sport this ArmorAlloy feature, but the brand says we may also see this in other NOTE 50 Series as well. Infinix claims the said metal is a combination of Damascus steel and aluminum alloy, providing remarkable toughness and weighing lightly.

The brand added that fans may expect a more scratch-resistant, deformation-proof coating, and is also capable of surviving humid environments on the upcoming devices.

Meanwhile, Infinix also hinted they used a HyperCasting technology—a new manufacturing process that involves melting aluminum alloy at 700 degrees Celsius and injecting it into a mold with 600 tons of clamping force, allowing multiple components to be formed in a single step. The process reportedly eliminates up to 22 welding points, reducing the core structure’s weight by approximately 3g while enhancing durability. It may also improve heat dissipation, which could benefit users during heavy usage, such as gaming.

The brand also noted that the NOTE 50 Series will sport an octagonal camera island which is also inspired by high-end car air intakes, diamond cutting, and luxurious jewelry. The design aims to balance aesthetics and functionality, offering a unique visual appeal while catering to diverse user preferences. The goal appears to be a seamless integration of technology and style, tailored to individual tastes.

Finally, the NOTE 50 Pro+ is seen with a 50MP periscope shooter with up to 100x digital zoom and OIS marking a huge change from its predecessor with just typical 2MP depth or macro fillers.
