Flagship performance for tournaments

The device will be used for mobile game tournaments such as  HONOR of Kings, PUBG: Mobile, Free Fire, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, although it was not mentioned whether the phone will be used for the women's or men's division.

The said tournament has ludicrous prize pools with popular titles such as MLBB or HOK having as much as USD 3,000,000 (around PHP 169.5M).

The competition will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this coming July 8 until August 24, 2025.

Going back to the device. Despite being marketed as a top-tier camera smartphone, it is still a high-performance machine thanks to its flagship internals.

It features a large 6.8-inch Quad Curved LTPO AMOLED screen with a 1 to 120Hz refresh rate, 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for eye care, and has HDR10+ support.

Meanwhile, it also has a 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core processor with a New Adreno GPU. The said chip is capable of producing around 2M AnTuTu score, enough to run games on max settings.

The device also has an ultra-wide area cooling system, ensuring it will have sustained performance even during intense gaming sessions.

Moreover, the device also has 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

Additionally, it has a 5,850mAh Silicon-carbon battery with 100W HONOR SuperCharge support and 80W for wireless charging.

The Magic7 Pro also uses large dual speakers with HONOR Spatial Audio for that truly immersive surround sound, earning it an SGS 5-star audio performance and spatial audio certification.

Finally, it runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0 with a bunch of AI features such as AI Remover, AI Cutout, Deepfake Detection, Super Zoom, and Magic Portal.

  1. I think you’re overhyping the esports angle on that phone a bit. Specs are cool, but in India, real gaming is about ecosystem, not just hardware. A powerful device means nothing if people don’t have platforms to actually use it fully. That’s why mobile apps are key now. For example, 888 starz app gives users access to sports betting, live casino games, and fast transactions directly from their phone. That’s real usage of mobile power. Just talking about processors and displays misses the point—people care about what they can actually DO with the device.
