More mid-range with long OS support

The new device features a leather-back finish, measuring 7.7mm in thickness and weighing 197 grams. Moreover, it is available in Coral Red, Luxe Violet, and Onyx Black colorways.

The phone also sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. It also uses an Infinity-U notch design for the 13MP front camera.

Inside, the Galaxy F36 5G is equipped with a 2.4GHz 5nm Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.

Powering the phone is a 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 25W fast charging support, though Samsung does not include a charger in the box.

For cameras, the Galaxy F36 5G uses a 50MP primary sensor with OIS + an 8MP ultra-wide lens + a 2MP macro camera. It also has AI-powered features such as Object Eraser and Image Clipper for easier editing.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, bottom-firing speakers, and Hi-Fi audio certification.

Connectivity options consist of WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz) 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC.

The Galaxy F36 5G runs on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 skin. The company promises six years of Android OS upgrades and security updates, making it a standout in its price segment.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

Samsung Galaxy F36 5G 8GB/128GB - INR 18,999 (around PHP 12,600)

Currently, the phone is only available in India. No word yet from Samsung if they will release this in other countries.
