Finally, Instagram has added a feature that allows its users to easily repost reels or posts on the platform.

The social media platform recently updated its features to add the REPOST icon on public posts so users can share to their followers posts they find interesting.

When you repost, your followers may see that you reposted in their feeds, and reposts will appear in a dedicated repost tab on your profile, Instagram said.

To repost a reel or post:

• On any public reel or post, tap the report icon.
• To add any text to your repost, tap the bubble by your profile picture on the bottom left of the reel or post.
• Include any test you'd like to share with your repost
• Tap Add

You can access your reposts in the Reposts tab in your profile.

NOTE: Reels or posts can only be reposted if the original creator allows it. Also, only content posted by the original creator can be reposted. Reposts cannot be reposted.

To remove a repost, just tap the repost icon.

To choose whether or not to allow reposts of your content:

• Tap profile
• Tap the menu in the top right
• Tap sharing below "How others can interact with you"
• Toggle allow reposts

Note that this feature may not be available to all Instagram users yet. You may try updating your app to know.
