Major network upgrade in Metro Manila

Globe strengthened its network infrastructure across key areas of the metropolis in 2024 and 2025 to maintain its recognition as the Most Consistent Mobile and Fixed Network in the Philippines, verified by Ookla for the second half of 2025.

According to the company, network expansions included new sites and capacity upgrades in cities such as Quezon City, Makati, Taguig, Manila, Pasay, Caloocan, Mandaluyong, Parañaque, Marikina, Valenzuela, Las Piñas, Navotas, San Juan, Malabon, Pateros, Pasig, and Muntinlupa.

Globe claims that the upgrades provide faster 5G speeds, stronger signals, and higher network capacity. The result is their subscribers likely now enjoy smoother experiences for video calls, online learning, streaming, gaming, social media, and mobile commerce.

Meanwhile, the telco said that businesses have benefited from more reliable connectivity to support operations, digital transactions, and remote collaboration.

Globe Prepaid also has flexible offers like UNLI 5G 50 and TM EasySURF 50 5G to help its users stay connected and enjoy the full capabilities of enhanced 5G and mobile broadband.

Our 2025 network upgrades bring faster, more reliable connectivity to where people live, work, and explore. With better 5G access and higher capacity in key cities, customers can stay connected with ease and take full advantage of promos like Globe Prepaid's UNLI 5G 50 and TM EasySURF 50 5G, said Melchor Rebutica, Senior Director of Globe.
