It highlights how sustainability is embedded in its long‑term business strategy.

The report underscores investments in resilient digital infrastructure, affordability, climate action, operational efficiency, and transparent governance—all aimed at creating lasting value for customers, communities, and the economy.

According to the company, connectivity remains its central mission.

By 2025, the company expanded 4G coverage to 96.41% of the Philippine population while driving affordability.

Since 2019, the cost per gigabyte of its most popular mobile data plans dropped nearly 60%, with an additional 17% decrease from 2024 to 2025.

Meanwhile, Home broadband also became more accessible, with prepaid fiber rates halved between 2022 and 2024, postpaid fiber plans reduced by 75%, and speeds quadrupled at the same cost compared to 2022.

Apart from connectivity, Globe also advanced its climate commitments.

The telco giant reported a 15% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions and a 9% reduction in Scope 3 emissions in 2025, which exceeded their annual targets.

Globa said that its renewable energy now accounts for 34% of total consumption, which is on track toward its 42% renewable energy goal by 2030.

On governance, Globe continues to align with International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) requirements, particularly IFRS S2 Climate‑related Disclosures.

Globe's 2025 report includes externally assured environmental and social data, verified emissions metrics, and the results of its first Double Materiality Assessment. It evaluated both the impact of external risks on business and the company’s own impact on communities and the environment.
