HONOR Pad X9 Max launched: IMAX Enhanced 13-inch display, 10,100mAh battery, and Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2

Honor Pad X9 Max launches today with a bigger display than its siblings in the UK.

Larger screen with IMAX Enhanced support

HONOR first introduced the Pad X9 in 2023, followed by the Pad X9a in 2025, and the company has now added a third model to the lineup with the launch of the HONOR Pad X9 Max. 

The Pad X9 Max is built with a slim aluminum body measuring 297.62 x 192.72 x 6.72mm and weighing approximately 618 grams. It is offered in a single Gray color option.

The tablet is fitted with an IMAX Enhanced 13-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2500 x 1560 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.

It supports 1.07 billion colors and reaches up to 700 nits of HBM brightness, while an 88 percent screen-to-body ratio keeps bezels to a minimum. The display also includes a paper-like viewing mode, DC dimming, and TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light and flicker-free viewing.

Powering the device is a 2.9GHz 6nm Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD cards of up to 2TB.

Battery duties are handled by a 10,100mAh cell that supports 45W fast charging. HONOR states the battery can last up to 16 hours of video playback or up to 13 hours of reading on a single charge.

For imaging, the tablet includes a 5MP rear camera with autofocus alongside a 5MP front-facing camera.

Quad speakers

Other highlights include a set of four speakers with IMAX Enhanced support, along with compatibility for the optional Honor Magic Pencil 4s stylus and a Smart Bluetooth Keyboard.

On the connectivity front, the Pad X9 Max offers WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port.

The tablet runs MagicOS 10 on top of Android 16 and comes with features such as AI Memo, desktop-style file management, and cross-platform file sharing that supports Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, Windows, and macOS devices.

It is currently listed via the HONOR UK website, although it hasn't started yet. No word too, if it will be available in other markets.
