Infinix recommends the HOT 70 as a Barkada phone w/ its 6 colorways, 50MP AI camera

Infinix once again boasts trendy colorways, a camera, and a battery in its latest entry-level HOT 70.

A phone that matches your friends

The company noted that groups of friends often gravitate toward matching items, whether it's sneakers, hoodies for a trip, or the same drink. Smartphones are now being marketed the same way.

Infinix is positioning its HOT 70 model as a phone designed for friend groups, or "barkadas," offering six different colorways so users can own the same device while maintaining individual style preferences.

The six colors

With that being said, the six available colors are Purple, Green, Thermo Orange, Silver, Blue, and Black.

The Purple and Green variants feature what Infinix calls a "Dynamic Shine Design" with a "Pearl-Smooth Finish," intended to produce a shimmering effect under light in photos. 

The Thermo Orange variant uses a back panel that shifts between lighter and deeper shades of orange depending on temperature—a feature Infinix describes as a conversation starter, with the company suggesting it may prompt friends to ask, "Wait… did your phone change color?" 

The Silver, Blue, and Black variants are described as more understated, conventional designs suited to any outfit or occasion.

Camera features

The HOT 70 is equipped with a 50MP Ultra-Sensing Main Camera paired with an AI Live Photo feature. According to Infinix, the system is designed to select the best shot from a sequence and filter out blurry images automatically, aiming to produce a usable photo even if a subject moves or blinks during capture.

Battery and durability

The device includes a 6,000mAh battery and supports 45W Lightning Fast Charge. Infinix states the phone has dust and water resistance and is SGS-certified for durability. The company says the HOT 70 will support up to three Android OS upgrades.
