It uses circular polarization and a homogenizing film that mixes Red, Green, and Blue colors to achieve white light, and reduces blue light by 2.9% "without affecting image quality," letting users enjoy a comfortable viewing experience. Moreover, it comes with the "best anti‑glare" Nano Crystal Shield Glass.
This display has up to a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, 3,200 nits peak brightness, 100% P3 color gamut, and ΔE < 1 color accuracy.
It arrived in an aluminum metal frame with IP68 dust and water resistance and a MIL-STD-810H durability rating. The phone is available in Sunlit Gold, Burgundy, and Midnight Blue colors.
For the rest of the specs, the device runs on the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Elite octa-core processor, Mali-G615 MC2 graphics, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB or 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,800mAh battery with Type-C 45W fast charging.
It also has a triple-camera setup at the back featuring a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 50MP f/2.4 3x telephoto OIS. For selfies, it sports a 32MP sensor.
This device also has the NXTPAPER slider on the side to activate e‑reader mode and Max Ink mode. Max Ink mode turns off notifications except for calls and texts, puts background apps to sleep, extends battery life up to 7 days, and offers easy access to the e‑reader app.
The TCL P80 Ultra also has a lot of AI features like the AI-enhanced Reading audio book/podcast, Off Screen Memo, Memo Craft, Simultaneous Interpretation, Real-time Subtitle, Face-to-face Translation, Google Gemini, AI-boosted productivity suite, and many more.
