At MWC 2017 earlier, Alcatel has announced 3 new affordable midrange grade smartphones and a 11.6 inch Windows 10 powered tablet designed for business.

The Alcatel U5, a 5 inch 480p entry-level Android handset with hip and attractive design. It sports a 1.1 GHz quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB expandable storage, 5 MP main camera, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The Alcatel A3 is another 5 inch handset with grippy design, 720p HD screen, 1.2 GHz quad core processor, larger 1.5 GB of RAM, 13 MP main camera, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. There's a fingerprint scanner and a front firing speakers as well.

The Alcatel A5 LED is the most exciting device of the line. It has a "dazzling" LED panel covering the entire back of the phone that will light up for incoming notification and can display different LED patterns based on your designs. It even has the ability to react to the music on your device and change daily themes.

The device is packed with a 5.2 inch HD 720p screen, 1.5 GHz octa core processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB expandable storage, and 8 MP main camera. It runs with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

The last device that Alcatel showcased is the Alcatel Plus 12, a 11.6 inch 2-in-1 tablet with full HD screen, removable keyboard, and LTE connectivity. The tablet loads with an Intel Celeron N3350 dual core chip, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB EMMC storage, micro SD card slot, and 6900 mAh battery.

It also features WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, fingerprint scanner, USB Type C port, micro HDMI port, and dual speakers behind. This 2-in-1 device runs with Windows 10 OS. Then there's LTE on the keyboard which can serve as a hotspot for 15 devices. 

The keyboard also has its own life where it features a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A7 processor, 128MB of RAM, 256 MB of storage, and a 2,580 mAh battery, and it connects to the tablet via a 7-pin connector, and comes with a full sized USB port on the side.

The tablet also sports Windows Ink feature for pens. This device measures at 0.3 inches thick w/out keyboard and weighs at 2.2 pounds.
