According to OPPO, the motherboard of the OPPO Find X9 uses an ultra-high-strength panel reinforced with 316L steel. It is also protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, paired with OPPO's exclusive chemical ion exchange process (OPPO Crystal Shield), resulting in it earning the Swiss SGS Five-Star Overall Drop Resistance certification.
Advanced methods like Low Injection Pressure Overmolding (LIPO) and enhanced 3D display mounting reinforce the screen's foundation, boosting durability and moisture resistance for sustained clarity and performance.
To make the devices even more durable, OPPO certified them with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. This means that the phones are protected from dust, water submersion (1.5 meters for 30 minutes), and high-pressure and high-temperature water jets up to 80 degrees Celsius.
Making it even better is that the company added its own Splash Touch technology, making its display responsive even in wet conditions.
In the software department, OPPO said that it will receive major Android OS updates for 5 years and 6 years of security updates, keeping the phone up to date, smooth, and secure longer.

The company boasts that its camera system is now more elegantly positioned in the top left corner with a module 15 percent smaller than the previous generation, despite housing larger sensors and more advanced lenses.
The repositioning enhances the phone's aesthetic balance while offering a more ergonomic grip, keeping fingers clear of the camera lenses compared to the top-center alignment of the previous generation.
OPPO said that this ergonomic refinement is made possible by OPPO's Floating Stack Architecture, a result of years of engineering designed to maximize vertical space.
Under the camera housing lies a tightly packed array of hardware: triple shooters, multi-spectrum sensor, laser focus, and mic—all seamlessly integrated. The motherboard's new layout is 13 percent denser and 10.5mm shorter, freeing up space for a bigger battery.
In particular, it uses a larger 7,025mAh battery, an increase of 24.7 percent versus the previous generation. Despite the increase in battery, the device remains incredibly slim at 7.99mm.

The new OPPO Find X9 also uses a one-piece glass process that naturally flows into the metal frame, creating a minimalist and unified look as well as a new-generation flat display with ultra-thin, symmetrical 1.15mm bezels on all sides, designed to show a near-borderless viewing experience.
