Spotted: REDMAGIC 11 Pro (Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 + 8,000mAh battery) to launch in PH soon

At the launch of the new nubia Air and V80 design yesterday, ZTE also revealed that the flagship REDMAGIC 11 Pro will launch in the Philippines soon.

The new REDMAGIC 11 Pro is the brand's newest top-of-the-line gaming smartphone, boasting improved thermals and bleeding-edge specs, aiming to help gamers enjoy the smoothest possible Android mobile gaming experience.

The handset arrived in a futuristic-looking design in Black, White, or Golden Saga Edition.

In front, it uses the  6.85-inch 10-bit BOE X10 1.5K OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, 960Hz touch sampling rate, 2592Hz PWM dimming, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Inside, it is packed with the 4.65GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with new Adreno GPU, 16GB LPDDR5T RAM, 512GB UFS 4.1 PRO internal storage, and a massive 8,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 80W fast charging.

The company also added the Ultra Graphics Engine 3.0 and a dedicated RedCore R4 chip to upscale supported games to 2K resolution at 144Hz. There is also a Synaptics touch chip that enables a 3,000Hz touch sampling rate and 520Hz shoulder triggers.

Next level cooling tech

To keep the performance in check, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro is equipped with a comprehensive thermal management system that uses a dual-track design with an active ceramic micropump for liquid cooling as well as air cooling tech. The company said that this system has a fluorinated coolant designed for stable operation across a wide temperature range. 

In the camera department, this gaming phone is packed with a 50MP OIS main camera paired with a 50MP 120-degree ultra-wide camera at the back. In front, it uses a 16MP under-display shooter.

REDMAGIC said that it has the ability to record up to 8K resolution at 60fps or 4K at 144fps.

Rounding up the specs, the phone has WiFi 7 (2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz), Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

Based on Android 16, REDMAGIC OS 11 integrates MORA, an AI assistant that handles messaging, object recognition, and contextual screen searches.
