Protecting irreplaceable works of art
LG Philippines has reaffirmed its partnership with the National Museum of Fine Arts, donating
LG Puricare Dehumidifier units as part of a shared commitment to preserving the nation’s cultural treasures.
This partnership strengthens the National Museum's internal climate regulation systems, enhancing its ability to meet the demands of professional art conservation.
Through this donation, we’re helping to create the right conditions for protecting priceless artworks, said Nakhyun Seong, Managing Director of LG Philippines.
The PuriCare Dehumidifiers feature a Dual Inverter Compressor for faster moisture removal and significant energy savings. The UVnano technology also helps maintain a hygienic water tank by inhibiting bacterial growth, while the ultra-quiet 33dB operation ensures that conservation work continues undisturbed.
The dehumidifiers can be controlled via the LG ThinQ app for real-time monitoring and remote control.
To help safeguard this iconic painting and others by National Artists like Fernando Amorsolo, Félix Resurrección Hidalgo, and Benedicto Cabrera, the LG PuriCare Dehumidifiers help remove up to 30 liters of moisture per day.
Fluctuations in temperature can severely damage fragile works—paintings, wood, canvas. That’s why we need environmental control. LG's dehumidifiers are exactly what we need to fight moisture and ensure these pieces endure, said Jeremy R. Barns, Director-General of the National Museum of the Philippines.
The dehumidifiers have been deployed throughout the galleries, helping preserve Filipino art, culture, and history.
