vivo Y32 launched: 8,000mAh battery, dual IP ratings, and UNISOC T7300 chip

vivo has quietly introduced the Y32 in select global markets, adding a large battery and a high-refresh-rate display to its Y-series lineup.

Long-lasting entry-level phone

The smartphone targets users seeking extended battery life without moving into a higher-priced segment.

In terms of design, the vivo Y32 is offered in Twilight Red and Sunset Orange. The Twilight Red version measures 8.69mm in thickness and weighs 229g, while the Sunset Orange model is 8.79mm thick and weighs 230g.

For durability, the device carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

In front, it is equipped with a 6.87-inch LCD with 1592 x 720 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches up to 1,300 nits.

Inside, it is powered by the UNISOC T7300 chipset, paired with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A microSD card can expand storage by up to 2TB.

The main highlight is an 8,000mAh battery that supports 44W wired charging.

For photography, the Y32 has a 50MP primary rear camera alongside a 2MP secondary sensor. Meanwhile, an 8MP front camera handles the selfies and video calls.


Additional features include stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner built into the power button.

Connectivity-wise, it has WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, and dual SIM support.

Finally, it runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top.
