Mynt Inc., the parent company of the group behind GCash, will hold its initial public offering (IPO) from October 6 to 12, 2026, at PHP 6.60 per share. Retail investors can participate through GStocks PH in the GCash app, with a minimum order of 100 shares, or PHP 660.

Order and allocation details

The shares will be offered through GStocks PH, which is powered by AB Capital Securities Inc. There is no maximum order size, subject to share availability.

GStocks PH users who place orders on October 6 and 7 will have their first 100 shares allocated in real time, while shares last. Shares ordered beyond the first 100 will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. Order fulfillment begins October 8, and users can track the status of their orders (fulfilled, pending, or unfulfilled) on their GStocks PH dashboard.

If demand exceeds the shares available to AB Capital Securities Inc., the GStocks PH IPO meter will show the offering as oversubscribed. Users can still place orders and will learn their allocation status after the offer period. Oversubscribed orders are not guaranteed, and any remaining funds will be returned to the user.

Offering size and institutional demand

The Securities and Exchange Commission has granted Mynt a Permit to Sell, allowing the offer period to proceed. The IPO is valued at approximately PHP 53.0 billion, based on the sale of more than 8 billion shares at the final offer price.

More than 20 global and local institutions have already committed to the offering, accounting for 70% of the allocation.

They include certain funds and separately managed accounts managed by investment management subsidiaries of BlackRock Inc., IFC (a member of the World Bank Group focused on the private sector), BPI Asset Management and Trust Corporation, and Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company – Trust Banking Group.

Additional commitments have been made to purchase any shares left unsold after the offer period.

If the overallotment option of up to 1,204,111,400 secondary common shares is fully exercised, the offering would raise up to approximately PHP 60.9 billion, which would make it the largest IPO in Philippine history.

How to participate?

Eligible users can open GStocks PH within the GCash app and transfer funds from their GCash wallet to their trading wallet. During the offer period, they can tap the Mynt IPO banner, enter the number of shares they wish to buy, review the order, and tap "Buy" to confirm.
