As a quick recap, the Vivo Y53 is the upgrade of the Y51 last year. It now sports better build, specs, and newer OS. It still has the same 5 inch qHD screen w/ 220 pixels per inch, but now has the upgraded Snapdragon 425 quad core processor w/ Adreno 308 and 2 GB of RAM.
The handset also has 16 GB of storage expandable using a dedicated micro SD card slot up to 256 GB and has 2,500 mAh of juice to power the rest of its internals.
Vivo also highlights an 8 MP f/2.0 aperture main camera that's said to be capable in shooting high quality images even in lowlight. In front, the phone has a 5 MP f/2.2 selfie shooter w/ screen flash.
Completing the specs, this handset has WiFi, 4G w/ VoLTE, FM Radio, LTE, dual SIM, and runs w/ a modified Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS w/ split screen mode.
