Kata V5 Announced, Now On Pre Order For PHP 3299

Kata Philippines just announced the Kata V5, the company's latest smartphone designed for those in need of a compact Android device with good looks.

Kata V5 or still the same Kata V4?

Supposedly, this handset should be the upgrade to the Kata V4 last year. But, on paper and even on image renders, everything is the same except for the name. It still has the special back button that you can use to take photos and as a wake-up button.

Weirdly, Kata increased the price of the V5 coming from the V4. From Kata V4 with PHP 2,699 price tag, the Kata V5 with no changes in design and specs on paper is priced higher at PHP 3,299. It does come with a free case and screen protector though.
