Beyond The Box Officially Launched Beyond Vol. 2 Comic Books

Do you love comic books? Well, we do. Beyond The Box has launched their Beyond Vol. 2 Comic books. This is a showcase of 3 of the best female artists in the country.

Rising stars of the local scenes showcased their abilities in this event. They are Julienne "Hulyen" Dadivas, Mika Bacani and Rian Gonzales. More impressive is the fact that this collection is done with an iPad Pro.

Beyond Vol.2 showcase the work of three of the best female artist in the country

They showcased stories of love, fantasy and even a funny take on a Filipino folk story. They have different styles that set them apart from each other.

Rian Gonzales calls her style as a "constant work in progress" as she is constantly evolving her style. She has done work for Archie Comics, IDW Publishing, Valiant Comics, and she is currently working for the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Hulyen, on the other hand, focuses her style on humor and an unpretentious demeanor. Her best known work is "UGH" wherein the main point is to show the character's raw reactions on everyday life. She is well-known for uploading her work on her Facebook page where hundreds of followers enjoy bursting out laughing.

Mika Bacani's work is most of the time related to food. Her work is exhibited in a number pof restaurants in Metro Manila including Wrong Ramen and Bad Bird. Her work also published in some of the top broadsheets in the Philippines.

These three female artists are paving a way for the younger generations. Their inspiring story of success is really a motivational call for artists to never give up on their craft and passion.
