On a roll! Huawei has announced last Saturday that they shipped more than 100 million units of smartphones or 19 percent year-on-year growth in just three quarters.

According to Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei's consumer business group, the growth has raised the company's operating revenue by 30 percent from January to September of this 2017.
Huawei has also increased the number of retail outlets globally to 19 percent year-on-year to 42,300.
Huawei has mostly sold entry-level and midrange smartphones, but Yu said that it plans to sell more midrange and high-end products to further expand and upgrade its brand image in the global market.
With over 10,000 employees around the world working on research and development, we expect to win more high-end customers, as there is more profit in high-end sector, Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei's consumer business group.
In case you missed it, Huawei is has surpassed Apple Inc. as the world's second largest smartphone company in the world last June and July 2017. Currently, Huawei is still the top Chinese mobile brand.
