OPPO F5 To Feature A.I. Beauty Recognition Technology

This October 26, OPPO is set to launch their latest smartphone in the country, OPPO F5. It's the company's very first handset to boasts an 18:9 screen!

In particular, the OPPO F5 will come w/ a 6 inch 18:9 FHD+ 2160 x 1080 resolution screen at 409 pixels per inch. The teasers also revealed that it'll have a single main camera, dual selfie camera, and a fingerprint scanner at the back.

Today, more details regarding the OPPO F5 emerged. It revealed that the OPPO F5 will come w/ a A.I. Beauty Recognition technology which uses artificial intelligence to recognize skin tone, type, gender, and age of subjects.

The A.I. technology will scan more than 200 facial recognition spots, learning the unique facial features of a subject (for example - the nose, cheek, lower jaw etc.), to make the best enhancements for each image, regardless of the facial expressions or shooting angle. The A.I. will self-learn and enhance each shot, as it takes more and more selfies.

It analyzes the environment lighting conditions by referencing other facial images from a massive global photo database, to beautify a selfie shot. In short, it will improve on analyzing and enhancing an image the more you take selfies.

Anyway, this device is also rumored to feature capable midrange grade overall specs. It will boot w/ Android 7.1 Nougat w/ ColorOS 3.1 skin w/ split screen mode.
