ASUS ZenFone 4 Oreo update now available!

The promise of Oreo this month is real! Today, ASUS has started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update for their top mid-range phone, the ZenFone 4 (ZE554KL).

The Oreo update with the build number 15.0405.1711.76 based on ZenUI 4.0 brings the latest Android 8.0 Oreo features, security, and optimizations.

It includes the picture-in-picture mode (PiP), Notification Dots, built-in password manager, improved Doze mode, faster boot times, swipe-up gesture to load installed apps, new customizable app icons, and settings menu.

The update is available via OTA (over-the-air). All you need to do is to wait for the notification stating that the update is available.

You can also update manually, just head to settings then about, then system update.

Just make sure you have a stable internet connection and more than enough battery life.
